The Federal Government has announced a N5bn palliative for each state of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory to cushion the impact of the removal of the petrol subsidy.

The council is made up of the governors of the 36 states, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and other coopted government officials.

Will palliative make any impact on the citizens due to hardship and the high cost of living the mass is going through right now Well that's left for the citizens to decide. 

According to some reports, people are paying some money amount (4500)  to get this palliative in some parts of the local government community in some parts of the state Investigation has been carried out to find out how true the information.
