Where would you go on a shopping spree

Image
By “shopping spree” I assume that you mean that anything you can put into a shopping cart and push across the finish line in 5 minutes flat you get to keep. Oh, and no customers are in the store getting underfoot. If that’s the case 5 minutes isn’t very long. I hope that you get to scout out the store in advance with someone who is familiar with the store and its wares. I’m thinking a jewelry store, but a real nice one will have all the good stuff inside the counter displays and trying to grab all these small items could be iffy. Okay, I’m over thinking this. Assuming that all of the items for sale are not locked, chained, bolted or welded down, or enclosed in a force field I’d go with a high end jewelry store.

What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

Image
What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance? My middle name, McLeod, is very important to me because it's the only permanent link to my Scottish heritage. It's my grandmother’s maiden last name, and it's also my fathers’, my cousins and their parents’, and my siblings’ middle names. It connects us all and reminds us of who we are. Also, to my knowledge, I'm the only Morgan McLeod Evans. There are many Morgan Evans’s, even a few famous ones, and my middle name is what differentiates me from the rest.

What is the last thing you learned? The last thing I learned is from a recent experience.

What is the last thing you learned? The last thing I learned is from a recent experience.  This thing I learned is that, if you expect something is going to happen, even if you spend years preparing for it, it's always worse than you imagined. At least that's what I have experienced. It was only a matter of time before the corrupt nature of this society would become obvious. It was certain that the master merchants who influence the arrange of this society were using the same playbook for each generation. There was likely to be a repeat of Ronald Reagan. The first true puppet president. I knew this second version of Reagan would be more bombastic, because society had become more corrupted from decades of affluence. But every time I unwittingly expose myself to news videos of the donald puppet I cringe. It seems so much my fake than I had expected. It was also expected that something like the COVID-19 pandemic would inevitably occur and leadership would fail. And it isn't ju...

What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

Image
What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain. *Anything about my weight, from "Are you pregnant?" to "Don't you think you should lose some weight?" *Questions about my divorce. Nobody asks why you get married. Everyone wants to know why you're divorcing, presumably so they can assign blame or feel superior. None of your business. *Getting asked for money. I'm a single mother of three without a retirement plan. I try to be charitable when I can, but...extra money is something I don't really have. If you're a charity doing telemarketing, call millionaires, not me. If you're my college...look: you provided services to me for which I paid A LOT and am still paying for; let's not kid ourselves that it was anything but a business transaction. I don't owe you anything else. "*How are you doing?" when the asker doesn't actually give a rat's ass how you're doing, they're just making polite conversation. ...

How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Image
How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success? Failure, be it getting fired, getting dumped, a bad grade, has a lot of ego involved. Try to unwind and not take yourself so seriously. Step away and look at yourself from the outside. Understand that you are a human. The very best humans who have ever lived have failed hard and failed often. It’s also important to expect negative emotions. By understanding and expecting negative feelings as part of a natural cycle you’ll feel less a victim of circumstances and more a member of a process we all experience. Also - don’t forget to learn. Defeat has tremendous teaching value if you choose to listen.

You're writing your autobiography. What's your opening sentence?

Image
Beginning an autobiography can be a daunting task, but here are some tips to get you started: Start with a significant event: Think of a significant event or moment in your life that shaped you or had a profound impact on you. It could be the moment you realized your passion, the moment you overcame a challenge, or a life-changing event that shaped your worldview. Introduce yourself: Give readers a brief introduction of who you are and your background. This can include your name, where you were born, your family, and any other relevant details. Set the tone: Think about the tone you want to set for your autobiography. Do you want it to be serious and reflective, or humorous and light-hearted? Set the tone early on to give readers an idea of what to expect. Choose a point of view: Decide if you want to write in the first person (using "I") or the third person (using your name). Writing in the first person can make your story more personal and intimate, while writing in the thi...
