Which animal do you like most?
I have the privilege of coexisting with two parrots and a cockatoo. Most parents won't readily admit to it, but we all have our favorites.
The two parrots are self-sufficient preferring to hang out with each other than with my wife and me. That's perfectly fine. They still get tons of attention and Facetime.
But the cockatoo Sam,
What do you like most about your favorite animal?
A cat is my favorite animal.
Cats are said to be less loyal than dogs. But have you seen their beauty? Cats are probably the most beautiful creatures of God. Their pretty face, their fur, their eyes, their walk, their color patterns, their voice, and the grace they carry.
Among all of them, my favorite is their walk.

My favorite animal is my collie girl. She is so beautiful inside and out. So affectionate, sweet, low key, low maintenance.
Just loving, gentle, and easygoing.
I’m not the only one, even visitors who aren’t fussed with dogs say they want to pack her in the car and take her home with them when they spend a little time with her.

But the cockatoo Sam,
wants nothing more than to be with my wife and me and be a part of whatever we're doing.
To wit, Sam being the escape artist that he is, we've made every attempt at securing every opening on his cage with a padlock. I had just given him his breakfast and changed his water, then went back to bed. It wasn't long before I heard the bedroom door creak open, and there on the floor next to me stood Sam holding one of his favorite toys.
Just to understand what was involved here, Sam first had to realize that I forgot to put the padlock on his water dish. Then he had to slip the catch that held the water dish in place, push it open, and slip out.
Next, he had to retrieve that toy from where he had last stashed it.
Then, go over to his bedroom door, sets down his toy, pulls the door open with his beak(I disabled the lock on the door), and picks back up his toy. Then trotted down the hallway to where our bedroom is located and then pushed that door open with his beak to gain access, just because he wanted to be with my wife and me.
He's also extremely in touch with our feelings. He hates it when we fight. When we do, he struts back and forth on the bed with his crest up and wing out(he only has one, losing the other to cancer)while squealing and wheezing. It's impossible to carry on a fight like that.
He also hates it when my wife cries. Doing so causes him to hop up on her shoulder, and raise his crest while squeezing her nose as he imitates the sound of her crying. Tears turn to giggles as he squeezes harder and cries louder. I have the privilege of coexisting with two parrots and a cockatoo.
