What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?

What are some challenges you think the next generation will face in 5 years?

Aside from the obvious challenges with climate change and the battle between the past generations in power wanting to keep the same destructive systems in place, I think one core problem will be difficult for everybody.

The battle between the egos. A lot of global communities regardless of culture wish to understand and eliminate beliefs that lead to violence, suppression, abuse and denial, and general abuse linked to inflated egos, narcissistic traits, and overall abuse from control issues.

The people who do not wish to embark on a journey of social intelligence and maturity generally are the abusers who want to keep their victims ignorant of their manipulation and cruelty. This battle. The battle between who said what and who was lying with much of it one generation who wants to heal the world and relationships and the other that wants to keep us ignorant and subservient. The worst part will be the ones in control who say “We don’t need to talk about it” and paint the picture that anybody who seeks justice and to reshape a system not working has something mentality wrong with them.

This battle will exist on all levels from couples, families, and States with our leaders being the worst offenders if we don’t wake up and use our collective power to elect leaders who believe in ethical fair trade, human rights (wage equality) and focusing on environmental issues whilst eliminating poverty.

It is a lot, isn’t it? However, solving these problems injects care and understanding of the problems into communities. We all can lift our mentality and become involved in being a part of the solution instead of the problem. I think the laws should make some allowances for leaders who endanger and do not act in the people's best interest by ignoring science.
