How do you Build your confidence
Who is wasn't born confident, but became so over the years.
My best motivation to become confident were those who tried to trip me, in the process I developed a back bone, and a funny bone, because you can handle such people with a straight face.
Today I' able to give advise to other confidence-challenged people, because I've been there, and know what they are going through.
Often those who try to erase the blaze of confidence in another person do so out of envy. They can never be successful, because in the end,
THE GOOD ALWAYS WIN.
Ah, confidence - a trait that can take one far in life. Let me tell you about the most confident person I've ever known. His name was David, and he was a close friend of mine.
David was the type of person who would walk into a room and immediately command attention. He had a certain aura about him that exuded confidence. I remember one time we were at a party, and David walked up to a group of strangers, introduced himself, and within minutes had everyone laughing and engaged in conversation.
One day, I asked David how he was so confident all the time. He told me a story from his childhood that had stuck with him throughout his life. When he was a young boy, he was afraid of heights. His father took him to a tall building and brought him to the rooftop. David was terrified and wouldn't step near the edge. His father encouraged him to take a step forward and stand near, not on of course, the edge. David was hesitant, but with his father's encouragement, he finally did it.
As he stood there, looking down and out into the city, he realized that he wasn't as scared as he thought he would be. He felt a sense of accomplishment, and his fear of heights began to fade right there! From that day on, David learned that the only way to overcome fear and become more confident was to face that fear head-on. He started taking risks and putting himself in uncomfortable situations, and as a result, he became the confident person I knew and admired.
David's story taught me that confidence isn't something you're born with - it's something you can develop and nurture over time. It takes courage and the willingness to step outside of your comfort zone. But if you're willing to do that, like David, you can achieve great things.
