How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

In someone makes a Plan B after making a Plan A, and fail in accomplishing Plan A, the question you ask is will the person that made both plans accomplish their dreams.

The short, and long, of it is yes and no.

If they made a Plan A that is their ideal dream. They surely failed in achieving it for the time being. But, they also made a Plan B, and that was another dream they aspired to accomplish. They clearly succeeded in their accomplishing it.

The only way to fully fail in achieving Plan A though is to quit trying to reach that Plan in the first place. By which, I mean to say they become complacent and accept that Plan A will never be achievable.

Winston Churchill said, “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” Richard Branson put this way, “Do not be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.”

In the end, see the acceptance of succeeding in Plan B as a stepping stone to the ultimate Plan A that is the fullest dream. Don’t accept and settle for a piece of the cake when it can all be yours, as long as you strive for it.
