Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

the question is really designed to show how much thought you have put into planning your career. Many candidates whom I’ve interviewed have not given their career path and life goals a lot of thought, and I really don’t necessarily expect that when I have asked the question.

What I am mainly looking for is how the candidate responds. If the candidate is honest (and seeking an entry level position), I would appreciate a response that’s honest. For example, “I’m just starting out. I want a job where I can explore to see the alternatives and possibilities that will lead me. I want to develop my skills so that I can eventually be a manager. And I would love to have the mentorship and coaching that will lead me there.”

On the other hand, I once hired a young man who had his whole career path planned out. It was obvious he had put a lot of thought into it, and I hired him partly based on his vision. Later, I sat down with him to help him adjust his sights a little,
life could be uncertainty but probably if you a good mentorship and coaching it will lead you to your destination
