Finidi George has reportedly resigned from his position as the head coach of Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles. The resignation was confirmed by former Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye. It is believed that Finidi made this decision following the Nigeria Football Federation’s (NFF) announcement of plans to bring in a foreign technical adviser. Finidi George had been appointed as head coach in April, replacing Jose Peseiro, and his resignation comes barely two months after his appointment.
