History. Holy f*ck, it's fun. I'm one of those loser nerds who studies history for fun. It's pretty much like Game of Thrones but it happened, without the dragons. Sadly I didn't get to take any history courses last year, I was forced to do *gags* Geography instead. Geography is the sh*ttier, more useless, and mundane version of history. That book has made me fall in love with a subject. And that too madly! The subject in itself is very vast but one thing that touches me about it is how simple things can seem once we get to the core of it. How do diseases present the way they do, and why do we develop them in the first place? Starting from the minute cell to the characteristic feature, everything has a logic behind it. Before studying it, for me, inflammation was just a red area that radiates heat. But now, I can say it is the most beautiful process in terms of its pathology! How the immune cells of the body work together to cause your tissues to get inflamed, why it feels hot, how we heal, and a lot more. To be honest I must say it is very difficult to tell because we all hope for a better life. Futurists and pundits would each like to give you an answer to this. Okay I dreamt this one up when I was in high school, I even wrote it down because it was so vivid. It was called Stud Day and was on May 7th. Now Stud Day is like a celebratory day for men; dads, brothers, and guy friends, if they have XY chromosomes it's their day. In my dream, all the guys were either playing games in the street, eating with friends, drinking at home, or dancing with their spouses/girlfriends completely shirtless (just the guys, not the girls). By nightfall, all of the guys were pretty wasted and all the ladies disappeared (probably left), then someone started a wall of fire and challenged everyone to run through the flames. If they made it out alive, they would get a prize. So of course everyone did it, unfortunately, this was when I woke up so I have no idea if any of the guys made it or not.
