If could un-invent something, what would it be?

Image
That’s an interesting question. Many inventions have both positive and negative impacts on the world, so it’s hard to choose one. But if I had to, I might un-invent **nuclear weapons**. They have caused a lot of destruction, fear, and suffering in the past, and they pose a serious threat to the future of humanity and the planet. I think the world would be a safer and more peaceful place without them. 🕊️ What about you? What would you un-invent and why? I’m curious to hear your thoughts. 😊

Can you share a positive example of where you've felt loved?

Image
Can you share a positive example of where you've felt loved? *The day he held me from my waist to kiss me, I felt loved. *The day he stole the glance as I pulled my hair behind, I felt loved. *The day he gently held my face and kissed my forehead, I felt loved. *The day he hugged me tightly and cried his heart out because he trusted me, I felt loved. *The day he held my hand tightly ensuring me that he’ll never leave me, I feel loved. *The day he told me “You’ll be the best wife ever”, I felt loved. *The day his breath and heartbeats got fastened up when he sensed the fear of losing me, I felt loved. *The day I wore a new dress for an occasion, and instead of staring at *the other parts of my body he was just looking at my face continuously, I felt loved. *The day I saw those tears in his eyes when I got angry and told him that I’d leave him forever, I felt loved. The day we exchanged our words through silence, I felt loved. *The day he struggled just to make me smile, I felt loved...

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

Image
Where can you reduce clutter in your life? As it is approaching the end of 2016, I have a habit of de-cluttering for better things to come through in the new year. I am looking around my bedroom, my place of relaxation. I see so much clutter with things that I do not need to take up my creative and relaxing space. I have boxes to put my sentimental things into. I shall throw out several things that I no longer use. There is a pile of documents and papers etc that shall be thrown out as well. I shall go into my cupboards and drawers and do the same. I give our old clothes to charity shops or take them to the “Cash for Clothes” to get some cash. I take anything that can be sold into charity shops. This limits the amount of waste I throw out. The boxes that are filled with my sentimental things shall have a home in my bedroom, high up, on my shelve. Out of sight. Creating more space for me to feel more relaxed and comfortable. I de-clutter every three months to keep clutter to a minimum. ...

Which animal do you like most?

I have the privilege of coexisting with two parrots and a cockatoo. Most parents won't readily admit to it, but we all have our favorites. The two parrots are self-sufficient preferring to hang out with each other than with my wife and me. That's perfectly fine. They still get tons of attention and Facetime. But the cockatoo Sam, What do you like most about your favorite animal? A cat is my favorite animal. Cats are said to be less loyal than dogs. But have you seen their beauty? Cats are probably the most beautiful creatures of God. Their pretty face, their fur, their eyes, their walk, their color patterns, their voice, and the grace they carry. Among all of them, my favorite is their walk. Picture source: Pinterest My favorite animal is my collie girl. She is so beautiful inside and out. So affectionate, sweet, low key, low maintenance. Just loving, gentle, and easygoing. I’m not the only one, even visitors who aren’t fussed with dogs say they want to pack her in the car and ...

Think back on your most memorable road trip.

Image
Perhaps the most memorable road trip I’ve ever had was with my best friend and college roommate; she and I were going to one of her relative's homes for the Easter weekend as the rest of her immediate family wouldn’t be able to make it and she’s anxious about driving alone. Now, of course, two college ladies on an adventure? Of course. We had a variety of music. We had plenty of snacks. I had my sketchbook. We managed to get lost in southern Ohio on our way to a town on the Ohio-West Virginia border and had to find our way with a little guidance from her mom, a little guidance from a map, and a lot of patience. Some of my best sketches were just the Ohio countryside while we were driving along lost. We had plenty of hilarious conversations, plenty of deep ones, and plenty about an understanding between her religious affiliation and my agnosticism while choosing to educate myself about religions. We had sing-alongs to Queen, Bon Jovi, and The Megas. We managed to get lost on the way...

What snack would you eat right now?

Image
The other day my wife bought me a bag of Lay’s BBQ potato chips and I'm eating a few right now. Lay’s doesn’t make the best chips, they’re merely okay, but they are the ones I’ve got. Their flavor isn’t that of barbecue, more like a kinda spicy and smokey ketchup. Like I said though, they’re what I’ve got. If I could eat any barbecue-flavored potato chip right now, it would be Kettle Brand’s Backyard Barbecue-flavored chips. They’re thicker and crunchier than Lay’s chips and their flavor is closer to that of actual barbecue than Lay’s. Kettle Brand Backyard Barbecue chips are the snack I’d like to have right now.

~Come up with a crazy business idea~

Image
Are there any crazy/unique business ideas left un-started in the world? How do I find a business idea? Nobody is born knowing how to run a business let alone come up with business ideas. [Photo Credit: Pexels] All of us went to the same schools that our parents went to, where we were taught almost the same things. Most of us got 9–5 jobs after finishing college or university. Most of us have the same mindset: “Go to school or college, work hard, get good grades, graduate college, and get a high-paying job in a large company so that you can retire on a pension at 60 and live the rest of your life lolling on a rocking chair…”. For most of us, this has been our dream since childhood. Examples of people who inspired us to go to school, work hard, and get good grades to get high-paying jobs in large companies are all over the place. Most of us do not see anything beyond this level except to work hard, get a promotion, and climb up the corporate ladder. Some of us may disagree, but this is a...

Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?

Image
One item that I was incredibly attached to as a youth was a book of fairy tales. I loved reading stories about magical creatures, brave heroes, and enchanted lands. I would imagine myself as one of the characters and go on adventures in my mind. The book was a gift from my grandmother, who used to read it to me every night before bed. She would also tell me stories from her childhood and teach me valuable lessons. The book became a cherished memory for me. I still have it in my possession, but I don’t read it as often as I used to. Sometimes, I flip through the pages and remember the good times I had with my grandmother. She passed away a few years ago, but I feel like she is still with me whenever I hold the book. It is one of my most precious belongings. 📚

Live without struggle

Image
There is no definitive answer to what makes everyone face their struggle, as different people may have different perspectives and experiences. However, some possible factors that could contribute to the challenges we face in life are: * Our problems: All of us struggle with personal problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, self-doubt, addiction, and worries about our health, finances, and future. These problems can affect our mood, motivation, and well-being, and make it harder to cope with external difficulties. Our relationships: We are social beings who need to interact with others, but sometimes our relationships can also be a source of conflict, pain, and disappointment. We may face issues such as misunderstanding, betrayal, rejection, loneliness, or loss of a loved one. These issues can hurt our self-esteem, trust, and happiness, and make it harder to connect with others. * Our environment: We live in a complex and dynamic world that is consta...

How to protect the kidney from stones?

Image
Kidney stones are hard mineral deposits that form inside your kidneys and can cause excruciating pain when they pass through your urinary tract. To prevent kidney stones, here are some tips: Drink plenty of water and fluids, at least eight glasses per day or enough to pass two liters of urine. This helps to dilute the urine and dissolve the salts that cause stones. Eat calcium-rich foods, such as low-fat dairy products, legumes, dark green vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Calcium binds to oxalate, a substance that can form stones, in the stomach and intestines before it reaches the kidneys. Avoid or limit foods that are high in sodium, oxalate, or animal protein. These include processed foods, salty snacks, spinach, chocolate, beets, rhubarb, soy products, beef, poultry, fish, and pork. These foods can increase the levels of calcium, oxalate, or uric acid in the urine, which can promote stone formation. If you have a history of kidney stones, talk to your doctor about medications or supple...

How do I justify not having a girlfriend?

Image
There is no need to justify not having a girlfriend, as it is a personal choice or circumstance that does not define your worth or happiness. Some people may prefer to stay single for various reasons, such as focusing on their goals, hobbies, or self-care. Others may face challenges in finding a compatible partner, such as lack of opportunities, social anxiety, or fear of intimacy. Whatever the case may be, being single is not a problem that needs to be solved, but a situation that can be embraced and enjoyed. Here are some tips on how to be happy without a girlfriend: *Accept your reality and don’t compare yourself to others. You don’t have a girlfriend, and that’s okay. Don’t let society or peer pressure make you feel inadequate or inferior. Everyone has their path and pace in life, and you are not missing out on anything by being single. Instead of focusing on what you don’t have, appreciate what you do have, such as your family, friends, hobbies, talents, and achievemen...

What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

Image
Why do people want to live a very long life? Oh wow, I say and think this all the time. I would never want to live a life where I see all my friends die and the younger generation wants nothing to do with me. And I'm going to quote a gentleman who answered you as well - " you truly underestimate how shallow some of us are ". It's nuts, so nuts it's bananas. The same folks who want to live that long forget that they will most likely become extremely dependent on others and will probably be living in a nursing home with crappy food; let's not forget wearing diapers which you'll need help putting on and taking off. ( oh that's not even the tip of the iceberg ) If you ask me that's no way to live. I think most people want to live a long time because they are afraid of death. I have this conclusion because even people who are not enjoying their life particularly, still want don’t want to die. People will always say “There’s so much I want to do..” but i...

What could you do differently?

Image
That’s a very interesting question. There are many things that I could do differently, depending on the context and the goal. For example, I could do differently in terms of: My education or training: I could learn new skills or topics that would enhance my abilities or knowledge. For instance, I could learn more about natural language processing or computer vision, which are fascinating fields of artificial intelligence. My career opportunities: I could explore different paths or roles that would challenge me or allow me to grow. For example, I could try to become a chatbot developer or a data analyst, which are in high demand nowadays. Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

Image
Personally not so much, even though the past has a big influence on my present state I don't spend much time thinking about it. Both the past en the future have little use for me I tend to live in the present. Long ago I have come to the conclusion that the present is the only thing that actually exists. Thinking of the past has nothing to offer, whatever has happened has happened and can’t be changed, it’s a waste in my personal opinion to spend your time on something that cant be influenced by your time. I do think that spending time in the present to direct the future can be very valuable. Investing your current time for a more pleasant future can have great results yet it’s a risk none the less. I do prefer the present above all, because the present allows you to change the future and the feeling you got from the past. Things that have hurt you in the past don’t need to hurt you today and don't have to be taken into the future, the present allows you to accomplish that. ...

How do love Vin Diesel and Dwan Johnson?

Image
If you are asking about their relationship as actors, they have had a long-running feud that started in 2016, when Dwayne Johnson posted a cryptic message on Instagram, calling out some of his male costars for being unprofessional1. The two actors reportedly clashed on the set of The Fate of the Furious, and Johnson did not appear in the ninth film of the series. In 2023, Johnson confirmed that he and Diesel had resolved their differences and that he would return to the franchise for future movies2. He said that they had put the past behind them and that they would lead with brotherhood and respect. If they ask about their relationship as characters, they play Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and Luke Hobbs (Johnson), two former enemies who become allies in the fight against various villains. They first meet in Fast Five, where Hobbs is a federal agent tasked with capturing Toretto and his crew. They eventually team up to stop a drug lord, and Hobbs grants them their freedom. What is the greatest gift you have received?

Image
My Dad bought me a brand new Jeep Wrangler when I was 17, but the real gift was what he taught me about life by way of this car. Every month, on the first of the month, I was required to pay him $150 if I wanted to continue driving my Jeep. If I didn’t pay, I couldn’t drive my car (or “his car”, as he often reminded me, since he owned the title). My Dad was (and still is) a successful businessman, who makes a very decent living. To a 17-year-old working part-time in High School, $150 was more than I usually had in my bank account, and I often struggled with the prospect of handing over $150 when the time came to pay the piper. Although it was often done begrudgingly and with much complaining, I always made sure to have $150 in his hand on the first of the month, and did so for 2 years. The day I graduated High School, my Dad pulled me into his office at our house and sat me down for a little chat. “Kevi,n,” he said, extending his arm to give me a white, sealed envelope, “here is your g...

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

Image
How do parents say "no" to playtime requests from their children, especially when they just got back from the day’s work and look stressed out? I’ve been reading about mothers hating or disliking their children here. How can a mother feel this way towards their child? Twelve years ago, while at dinner with my husband, child, and friends, the child was feeling bad, so I spent the dinner cuddling her and stroking her. When she unexpectedly threw up, I grabbed napkins, cleaned up the mess, cleaned her up, and got us out of the dinner and back home as quickly as possible. When she was in the hospital with pneumonia, I spent nights on the pull-out bed and was there for four days straight. When she needed a Pocahontas costume for a presentation in fifth grade, I bought felt and feathers and pulled one together on my (seldom-used) sewing machine. When she was in sports, I drove her to and from, every single day, made sure we were at her meets, and cheered her on. When she got in tro...

What are your biggest challenges?

Image
Versatility, having enough in the bag to assure gainful employment over my long-gone working career. Beginning my work at 16 playing in nightclubs in Kansas City as a house band playing trumpet and Hammond organ at that age I was confident my musical star would rise. After bouncing around and getting lucky enough to play with world-class players in California and throughout the country I learned quickly enough, that my star was stuck and not rising and likely wasn’t going much higher. While in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 60s and early 70 I was trying to keep up with Las Vegas house band players with degrees from Julliard. Trying to keep up with graduates of the Berklee School and former studio writers and knew then and there, hmm, I was lacking not only in education but talent. Uncle Sam gave me a ride as an army musician and when I got out the business had changed dramatically. So what to do? The G.I. Bill was intact, after attending a semester of university I relocated to ...
