I would honestly say my biggest influence is my surroundings. I am never usually influenced, but sometimes my surroundings push me. I couldn't care less about other material items. It is not impressive to me in the slightest. What impresses and is influential is your attitude. I will quickly adopt a similar attitude as those around me. I always try to stay around positive people who encourage me to do good. I know who my triggers are, so I try to be more careful. A year ago I was hopeful of some growth in the stock market and as long as you were invested in the most expensive stocks the markets set records. If, however, you were a retail investor invested in growth stocks, you were punished by Wall Street unhappy about the revealing of their corrupt activities by hedge funds. The pendulum swings both ways and there is a day of reckoning in the near future politically and economically. I’ve learned to be more patient and am disappointed in seeing what is happening but have acquired even more faith that justice will prevail and good will defeat evil. I spend more time reading and learning things related to my spirituality than I did last year. Furthermore, I was more consumed with doing the research that was necessary for stock trading, but the markets have changed, and I’ve become a buy-and-hold investor out of necessity.

What skills or lessons have you learned recently?  I recently learned that practicing meditation can help to improve focus and concentration. I also learned that it can be helpful to set small, achievable goals for each day to stay on track and motivated. Lastly, I learned that it is important to take breaks throughout the day to avoid burnout.

I enjoy several types of workouts (physical activities) depending on my mood: Zumba and dance: It’s fun to shed calories and dance off the inches from your waist; eventually developing good heart health. Kick-boxing: I love how as a result the endorphins kick in and how kick-boxing also makes you feel powerful at the same time. Bugs Bunny Sylvester, Tweety, etc are good but still, the Funniest cartoon is Tom & Jerry because it was created for 5 minutes ( I am talking about the old one). I will give Tom and Jerry 10/10 due to these points below: Mime but it had amazing funniest moments. Creativity at its best, No one can think that a drum can bust due to dynamite & change into a cycle. The amazing friendship chemistry. The rivalry between cat, mouse & dogs. The level of engineering. What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year? When I was 5 years old, my family and I went on a trip to New York City. I told my Kindergarten teacher that I’d be out of class for a week because I was visiting NYC. She told me “Okay, but keep a journal. Write down everything you do.” So I did. I brought a small notebook along with me. I wrote down all the little things I did — from cruising around the Statue of Liberty to accidentally running straight into a screen door at a family friend’s house. I documented all of it. I went back to school the next week and waved my journal in front of my teacher. “I kept a journal like you said!” She flipped through it. She smiled. If you ride a taxi or Uber you may be locked up inside the taxi or Uber. If you run out of smoke at the wrong hour and go outside to buy a smoke make sure you have a will. If you enter an elevator make sure when you exit the elevator who is behind you. If you feed street cats at night better to go feed street cats earlier. And if you are a woman or senior better know where you step and who is behind you when you enter your home or bank or any ATM.
